A wide variety and choice of well balanced meals, both meat and vegetarian are provided/ Dinner Money is £10.00 a week, and is payable directly onto the ParentPay website. Should your child be entitled to free school meals you will need to complete the relevant forms obtainable from the school office and online on Trafford’s website. At present the children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to universal free school meals but if you are entitled to free meals anyway then you must still complete the claim forms for them, which are sent to you by the DSS, completed online or can be collected from the office.
Children are supervised by Mid Day Assistants and alternate staff members.
Packed lunches are allowed subject to the following conditions:
- Plastic containers for all drinks.
- A safe plastic container for food must have the child’s name on it.
Free milk is provided daily for our Early Years Nursery Children and children under 5 years of age under the ‘under 5’s free school milk scheme’.
We also give ALL other children in school free milk and this is purchased through Pupil Premium Funding along with free fruit.
Snack at Break
Following the Healthy Schools initiative sweets are NOT to be brought for playtime snack. A piece of fruit is offered to all children.
Chewing Gum IS BANNED from school premises; it is extremely unpleasant to clean up and could ruin the carpets in school.
The Chief Executive and Executive Headteacher are always willing to see parents to discuss the well being of their children. There are many agencies available to parents through school such as the Health Visitor, School Nurse, SCIPS worker, Doctor and the Educational Welfare Officer.
